Spring and your skin

Spring signals the end of winter and marks the time when flowers start to blossom, leaves grow, and the sun is shining!  It is indeed a beautiful time of the year.

However, have you ever wondered how it affects your skin?

Spring can bring unwanted changes that reflect on your skin.  This season can have an unstable atmosphere and strong UV rays, so it is imperative to have a skin care routine that provides the best protection while keeping your skin radiant and glowing.

In spring, trees and plants begin to bud creating invisible airborne allergens like pollen.  These allergens can cause sensitivity and irritation to the skin.  If the skin is highly sensitive, it can trigger allergy-related itchiness and even eczema.  The most readily affected areas are normally the cheeks and the delicate skin around the eyes.

Here are some skin care tips to keep your skin happy and healthy during this change in season.

  • Update your skincare routine to accommodate your skin needs.
  • Keep your skin nourished and hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
  • Protect your skin daily by using an SPF 50+.
  • Exfoliate your skin weekly to help with product penetration and texture.

Some products that we love are:
