Dear Guest

Summer is here and Christmas is fast approaching.

But How Does Summer Affect Your Skin?

As the weather gets warmer and humidity increases, your skin’s sebaceous glands start producing excess oils that get stuck on the surface of the skin leading to blocked pores.

In addition, when your skin is exposed to the harmful UV rays melanin production increases and your chances of hyperpigmentation as well as your risk of skin cancers and photo aging increases as well.

How to Take Care of Your Skin in Summer

1. Cleanse your skin, in summer skin can get oilier.  Use a cleanser suited to your skin type that can deep cleanse and remove all the dirt, grime and sweat your skin accumulates throughout the day.

We love Apect Dr Deep Clean.

2. Include antioxidants in your skin care regime which help to hydrate your skin, protect your skin from environmental damage, boost collagen and scavenge free radicals to prevent damage to the skin.

We love Apect Dr Optiboost.

3. Keep skin hydrated using a hydrating face mask once or twice a week or by adding hyaluronic acid to your skincare routine.

4. Exfoliate once or twice a week helps to remove devitalised skin cells and excess dirt and oil from the skin.

We love Aspect Dr Lanazyme Micro Peel

5. With increasing light exposure comes pigmentation.  To help restore your skins radiance and reduce abnormal pigmentation we suggest using a daily pigment inhibitator such as Aspect Dr Complete Pigment Plus Age Support.

Jenny and Mannie would love to see you if you have any questions about your skin.
